IAC Ltd. Offers New Repairs for Schweizer Tail Rotor BladesFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Fort Worth, Texas, February 13, 1999 -- IAC Ltd., has engineered new repairs for all models of Schweizer Tail Rotor Blades including replacement of the leading edge abrasion strip. Schweizer tail rotor blades operated in harsh environments are commonly retired prematurely because of erosion or delamination. The new repairs developed by IAC will keep these blades in service much longer. Since Schweizer tail rotor blades have an unusually high retirement life of 9,000 hours, direct operating costs will be significantly reduced. David Roemer, Manager of Customer Support Services for Schweizer, welcomes these new repairs as a genuine step forward in product support by IAC which is a long-time authorized Schweizer Rotor Blade Service Center. IAC Ltd. is managed by Randy Stevens, President, and combines the long-standing industry experience of Herman Bevelhimer and Dana Kerrick to bring a high level of in-house technical expertise to the company. IAC has developed many new repairs for various blade types. The company holds Federal Aviation approvals for the repair of Aerospatiale, Agusta, Bell, Boeing (MDHS), Sikorsky, Schweizer, and MBB main and tail rotor blades. IAC will provide full or partial repairs, 24 hour on-call AOG service and no inspection charge for a repair evaluation.
